Gunmen reportedly abduct Nigerian musicians DNATwins, demand N10m ransom
Budding Nigerian entertainers, Blair and Clinton Roberts popularly known as DNATwins have been reportedly kidnapped.
The twin brothers, who rose to fame as contestants on Glo X Factor Season 2,
were abducted by unknown gunmen on their way to Lagos from Abuja where they had visited their mother.
According to reports, barely two hours into their journey, the vehicle, Ekesons Transport Company which they boarded was attacked by the gunmen who robbed the passengers before taking the 20-year-old twin brothers away.
The gunmen were reportedly dressed in army uniforms and the passengers thought their bus was stopped as part of checkpoint procedures.
They went on to hit the driver, shot the windscreen of the vehicle before they ordered all passengers to alight and they were allowed to return to the bus after they were stripped of their valuables.
Also, reports say the kidnappers had since called their father on the phone and made demands for a N6million ransom, which was later increased to N10million with threats to kill the boys if the ransom is not paid between yesterday (Tuesday) and today.
Their elder brother, Quincy Robert made the disclosure on his Twitter handle, @quincysings.
He tweeted: “Hi, if you’re seeing this, please retweet my next few tweets. My Lil brothers (CLINT&BLAIR) were kidnapped yesterday morning#SaveDNATwins.
